Be
sure to set aside the evening of Saturday,
September 5th, 2009 for the OMAA’s 5th
Annual Almost Labor Day Auction. Known as one
of the premiere art and social events
of the summer season,
the annual fundraising event will include both a Silent and Live Auction,
and feature a
dazzling array of art works by national and regional artists.
Many national and local artists will be represented in the Live Auction. The Silent Auction will feature a group of artist-designed fantasy boxes. Other items in the Silent Auction include fine jewelry, hotel / restaurant gift certificates, and a magnificent Regency Rosewood Workbox.
There will also be delicious food, fine wines, and games to
enjoy.

(No telephone or email bids can be accepted while the Auction is being conducted.)
Since
its inception in 2005, the Almost Labor Day Auction has raised nearly a
quarter of a million dollars to benefit the Museum’s General Operating Fund. Last
year, the Almost Labor Day Auction was attended by almost 200 bidders
and
art lovers.
